─── How we work
How we work.
Senior-led. Time-boxed. Built around deliverables, not capacity.
─── What every mandate looks like
Four principles.
Without exception.
— 01
Senior-led from start to handover.
Every mandate is led by a senior operator with direct accountability. No junior delegation. No layered team structure where the real thinking happens two levels below the relationship.
— 02
Scope before start.
Scope, duration and deliverables are defined before work begins. Mandates can evolve where needed, but they are structured, controlled and designed to conclude.
— 04
Useful into execution.
The boundary between advisory and execution is where most programs lose control. Advanum stays close through the phases that carry real risk.
— 03
Independent of vendors and implementers.
We do not resell software. We do not take referral fees. Judgment sits with the client, not with a delivery ecosystem.
─── Three ways we engage
Three formats.
Each defined before work begins.
Model I
Decision Review.
A focused, senior-led review of a specific decision or program. Structured scope, clear deliverables, typically four to eight weeks. Used to clarify a systems choice, validate a redesign direction or assess a program at risk.
Model II
Advisory Mandate.
A phased engagement across decision, preparation and early execution. Typically three to six months. Used when the decision and the path forward need to be carried together.
Model III
Program Steering Mandate.
Embedded senior steering in a high-stakes program, with defined governance scope and a clear end point. Aligned to rollout phases or go-live stabilization windows. Not interim. Not line management.
─── What we do
A four-step working method.
01
Review
We start with the situation as it is, not as it is briefed. Operating reality, decision stakes, real constraints.
02
03
04
Structure
Steer
Stabilize
Options, trade-offs, risks, preparation gaps. A decision pack that leadership can act on — not a 120-slide deck.
Governance, decision discipline, vendor and program steering through the phase where risk is highest.
Performance steering until the program is predictable and the steering model is handed over cleanly.
─── What we are not
Defined as much by what we decline.
Advanum is not a full-service consultancy. We do not sell transformation programs end-to-end. We do not deliver software, run warehouses or operate logistics. We are not a staffing model in advisory clothing. We do not work in areas where we cannot bring real senior judgment.
Saying this clearly is part of the offer. Premium advisory is defined as much by what it declines as by what it does.
─── A first conversation
A first conversation.
A first step is always a short, confidential conversation. We listen to the situation, share a direct view and indicate whether Advanum is the right firm for the mandate. If we are not, we say so.
